Easter, Spring and all things new

As a new designer, some items present unique challenges. Sometimes it's in the design phase, sometimes it's in the application.

There is a lot of research, and significant pondering, that goes into every creation. There are as many hours looking at the different parts trying to envision how they will come together as there are actually putting them together. That probably comes as no surprise to the other artists out there, but it certainly did to me. The creative process is different for everyone, and introspection is a large part of mine.

I've been wanting to do wire crosses for awhile, and in that I have done a considerable amount of research on styles and tutorials, and all the introspection that is a part of my process. I've seen everything from what looked to be incredibly simple, to what is clearly quite intricate. Somehow I thought a basic cross would be fairly easy, such a simple design, but deceivingly so! Well, maybe it's easy for some, but for me it is one of the most challenging items I have worked on.

I'm unveiling a few items, just starting to get the handle on them. I hope to expand the collection of wire crosses and a few other freestyle wire items. They are now available in the Etsy store and via DM on Facebook and Instagram.

I hope you enjoy them!
